About
During an indulgence in FinalFantasy XIV, I found a deep passion for leather working(something my character had done). I opened my Etsy shop a couple years later, in 2016, to help me continue to craft while not completely cluttering up my work area. Since then, I've added a few new skills, tools, crafts and techniques. I work out of my basement workshop making all the products myself in my free time in-between my job, hobbies and all other of life's responsibilities.
For machinery, I have a K40 laser engraver/cutter(for wood, acrylic, leather, etc.) and a Cricut I like to use. I also like to dabble with epoxy/acrylic resin as well. Any leather that is stitched is done by hand. The leather I use is vegetable-tanned full-grain leather.
I love fantasy related things, such as Dungeons and Dragons, Lord of the Rings and long fantasy novels(currently finished The First Law Trilogy, re-reading The Wheel of Time now). I also love being in nature hiking, mushroom hunting, and birding.
I like to reduce waste and upcycling where possible. I try and use recyclable and minimal packaging(enough to ensure the goods are safe!). I also save and upcycle bubble wrap, cardboard, and other packing materials from orders I receive. I cut off and save any decent hardware from belts, bags, jackets, etc. that I can repurpose in my crafts.
Please keep in mind: Leather is a natural material, because of this, you may find some pieces do not exactly match the pictures taken. Some places may take dye or tooling differently on each piece - making it unique!
